After four months of (unsuccessfully) pitching agents, I'm pitching publishers directly, and this is my first step in this new chapter of my writing journey. Whether you can make it or not, if you are a reader of my work, thanks for your support! To my loved ones, thanks for at least putting up with me (and in many cases celebrating me) during the long process of living, writing, re-writing, and querying this book. This is not to say it's over... There will be many more opportunities to flex your tolerance and support muscles going forward!
